People’s Choice Award
The area’s premier landscape companies showcase the best of design and craftsmanship with garden displays over-flowing with plants and flowers that are forced from winter dormancy to be in full bloom for the four days of the show. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite garden with the ballot found in their program.

Container Competition
 

The Entry Garden at Springfest Garden Show will greet visitors with charming front porch vignettes, each displaying the talents of both amateur and professional designers competing for the coveted blue ribbon. Internationally known garden writer, Ken Druse with local garden writer Vicki Johnson, will once again judge and critique the Container displays.

American Horticulture Society Award
Springfest is challenging the Garden Exhibitors again this year by offering a competition from the American Horticultural Society. The AHS Environmental Award will be presented to an exhibit of horticultural excellence which best demonstrates the bond between horticulture and the environment, and inspires the viewer to beautify home and community through skillful design and appropriate selections.

Children's Bi-Annual Poster Contest

Students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 are invited to create a poster that celebrates a theme of ‘Garden to Home’. The poster should be a fun project and inspire students to discover the beauty of nature. Subjects may include flowers, gardens, trees, landscapes, or anything used out of the garden for decoration or food in the home.
